Voter approval of Proposition 1 – the Water Quality, Supply and Infrastructure Improvement Act of 2014 - would authorize $7.12 billion in general obligation bonds to keep California’s water supply safe and reliable from earthquakes and droughts.
Proposition 2 – the Rainy Day Budget Stabilization Fund Act – would require the state to annually set aside 1.5% of general fund revenues and spikes in capital gains-related taxes to both pay down debt and protect schools and public safety services from budget cuts in future recessions.
